Excellent for my needs
Overall very impressed with the quality of product for the price. I bought it because I decided six months ago that, at 70, it was time to at least try to get into some kind of shape and see if I can make it to 90. I'm 5'10" and 185 lbs (down from 210) but needed something for upper body and abs. Pushups, situps, and resistance bands can only take you so far. Nothing can replace pull-ups and chin-ups and those **** vertical leg lifts, so here we are. Very stable - no wobble at all. I suggest that those commentators who thought it wobbled should learn how to use a wrench and tighten the bolts (or maybe they're denying what they actually weigh?). Assembly was relatively straight-forward except for two misnumbered screws. It worked out in the end, I merely bypassed the step where I couldn't find the parts and when I get to the end, there they were. Not counting my wasted time looking for those two screws and reading the directions, assembly took about an hour and 10 minutes.
Great bang for the buck.
So, first let me say that this is not the first exercise product that I have purchased that required assembly. Second, it is without a doubt the simplest, most clear assembly instructions that I have ever encountered. Finally, it seems that products like these have hardware that is often missing, sizes that are confusing, things that don't line up and need modification, etc. - but not this product. This product was incredibly well-constructed and precisely fit every step of the way. I literally received this product this morning and it took less than an hour to have it up and working. I will almost never leave a review, but this one was so extraordinary in the care of manufacturing and customer concern, I felt that I had to give kudos. I am just an ordinary nobody, so don't think that this is a compensated endorsement, just a refreshing change in my experience that I wanted to share, they deserve it.
Ignore bad reviews
I spent hours searching for a dip/pull-up station that is sturdy, doesn't tip over, and can support my 230lb husband, myself, and still be accessible to our 115 lb daughter who needs to keep in shape for the Air Force. There are plenty of stations out there with bad reviews, including this one. However I took my chances and bought. What arrived in the mail was the best packaged item I've ever purchased. I spent 30 minutes alone just cutting and removing packaging. All parts were present. The provided tools were far above any other tools to accompany a product in my experience. It took me less than an hour alone to assemble while my husband was drum sanding a bedroom. Our house is 244 years old, built in 1778. The floors are warped. We had to shim my treadmill to keep it from shaking and squeaking (In addition to keeping me from a constant uphill run). However, without shims, right next to the treadmill, on a decline, the dip/pull-up station did NOT tip over or wobble for me doing both dips and pull-ups.This is a high quality, sturdy station. I am not an influencer, but just a 43 year old mother and wife who works a desk job and has very few friends but will recommend this product to anyone who asks.
Very good value
Very well built for the price, very sturdy. 45 min from opening the box to having it fully assembled at a casual pace. The instructions were 9/10 easy to understand, just pay attention to what goes where and you'll be fine. It helps to open everything up and lay it all out on the floor before starting to put it together, and then you can follow along step by step no problem. Definitely a piece of equipment I'll be relying on for my continued health and fitness for years to come, would recommend.
